Superior Seafood and Oyster Bar

If you look up “Top New Orleans Seafood Restaurants” you will see Superior Seafood on quite a few lists. Located on St. Charles Ave, you can take the St. Charles streetcar line there and hop off at stop 24 - I love taking the streetcar and highly recommend it as a mode of transportation! Superior Seafood has an awesome happy hour with 1/2 off house wine bottles, $3 drafts, and $0.50 oysters every day from 4p-6:30p. I definitely recommend making a reservation because it can get very crowded, especially during happy hour.

If you are looking for good quality seafood in NOLA, Superior Seafood should definitely be on your list. I’m sharing what we ordered below, these pictures aren’t the best quality because I was taking them quickly with my phone (it was super crowded!), but still wanted to share the experience! Our favorite dishes were the Crawfish Cheesecake, Char-grilled Oysters, and the Shrimp Andouille Brochettes. And in typical NOLA fashion, they serve fresh French Bread to the table, which is always tasty!
